Five years in, Bob Dylan just keeps adding more dates to his Rough and Rowdy Ways world wide tour. The folk rock icon did it again this week when he tacked another dozen stops onto the outing in support of his 39th studio album of the same name on the meandering tour that originally kicked off in November 2021.

Among the new cities on the routing for this summer are stops in Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Boston, Gilford, N.H., Bridgeport, Conn., Queens, N.Y. and Richmond, Va., as well as Raleigh and Wilmington, N.C., Atlanta and Nashville.

The shows announced on Tuesday (April 21) by the 84-year-old Rock & Roll Hall of Famer will include opening acts Lucinda Williams and Jimmie Vaughn on most of the dates, with country singer Brittney Spencer and X singer/bassist John Doe’s John Doe Folk Trio also joining on select dates.

The pre-sale for the new shows is open now here, followed by a general on-sale starting on Friday (April 24) at 10 a.m. local time.

Dylan has mostly been performing songs from Rough and Rowdy Ways on the tour to date, while mixing in reworked versions of classics from his half-century-plus catalog, with a few brief breaks from the 37-year-old road ramble commonly referred to as the Never Ending Tour.
