Nashville-based music independent publishing and artist development company Tape Room Music has named Alicia Pruitt as chief creative officer and president of A&R, reporting to the company’s CEO/founder Ashley Gorley.

Pruitt previously served as senior A&R executive and songwriter champion at Warner Chappell Music.

Pruitt joins Tape Room Music COO and president of business affairs Blain Rhodes, who continues to guide the company’s strategic growth.

Gorley founded Tape Room in 2011, with a roster that includes writers including Ben Johnson, Hunter Phelps, Wyatt McCubbin, Ben Williams, Casey Brown, and Taylor Phillips.
