The Atlanta ensemble of Metro Boomin, Quavo, Breskii and YKNIECE takes the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Rhythmic Airplay chart with “Take Me Thru Dere,” which crowns the list dated Jan. 31. The new champ rises after two weeks in the runner up spot and gives both Metro Boomin and Quavo their third solo leaders and the first for both Breskii and YKNIECE.

“Take Me Thru Dere,” released and promoted through Boominati/Mercury/REPUBLIC Collective, was the most-played song on panel-contributing rhythmic radio stations in the United States for the week of Jan. 16-22, according to Luminate. It improved 7% in plays for that tracking week compared with the previous period (Jan. 9-15).

As the new leader ascends, it replaces Gunna’s “wgft,” featuring Burna Boy. The former champ falls 1-3 (down 5%) after a four-week reign.

With “Take Me Thru Dere,” Metro Boomin achieves his third Rhythmic Airplay No. 1 as a credited artist. He previously led in 2023 via the three-week champ “Creepin,” a collaboration with The Weeknd and 21 Savage, and the following year with “Like That,” alongside Future and Kendrick Lamar, for four weeks.

Quavo, likewise, nabs his third champ among his solo outings. Both prior No. 1s came through features on DJ Khaled-led singles: “I’m the One,” also featuring Justin Bieber, Chance the Rapper and Lil Wayne, logged four weeks on top in 2017, while 2018’s “No Brainer,” again with fellow guests Bieber and Chance the Rapper, claimed one frame at the summit.

Plus, the rap trio Migos, comprised of Quavo, Offset and the late Takeoff, scored its own triplet of Rhythmic Airplay No. 1s: “Bad and Boujee,” featuring Lil Uzi Vert (two weeks in 2017), a feature on Gucci Mane’s “I Get the Bag” (one, 2018) and “Pure Water,” with Mustard (two, 2019).

Relative newcomers Breskii and YKNIECE, meanwhile, each land a first Rhythmic Airplay No. 1. The former completes the feat with her first entry; the latter rapper does so on her second try, after her and Pluto’s “Whim Whammie” reached No. 28 in August 2025.

While Rhythmic Airplay marks the first Billboard radio chart No. 1 for “Take Me Thru Dere,” the song reached high peaks on other lists. It spent eight weeks at No. 2 on the Rap Airplay chart, claimed a No. 3 best on Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay and a No. 24 high on the all-genre Radio Songs chart.

“Take Me Thru Dere” is from Metro Boomin’s Metro Boomin Presents: A Futuristic Summa Hosted By DJ Spinz mixtape. The set, released in August 2025, became the producer’s 11th consecutive top 10 project on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.
