(July 10, 2012) -- A class in understanding elder abuse will be held Wednesday 6-9 p.m. at Clovis Adult Education campus in Clovis. The 18-hour course covers elder abuse recognition, response, and prevention. It is recommended for seniors, families, caregivers, and professionals. Eighteen Continuing education hours available for registered nurses, licensed vocational nurses, certified nursing assistants, and and residential care facility for the elderly administrators. Classes are taught by Castle Keep Elder Abuse Prevention.
