Fresno Filmworks Presents 'Monsieur Lazhar'

(July 10, 2012) -- Fresno Filmworks will screen "Monsieur Lazhar" at the Tower Theatre Friday at 5:30 and 8 p.m.  A Canadian drama, the film  tells the story of an Algerian immigrant substitute teacher who brings emotional stability to a Montreal middle school class  shaken by the tragic death of their teacher.

 Tickets are $10 general and $8 for students and seniors, and they can be purchased by check or cash at the Tower Theatre box office, 815 E. Olive Ave. Details: www.FresnoFilmworks.org.
