Volunteers Needed To Spruce Up Victoria West Park

    (July 9, 2012) -- The City of Fresno's Clean and Green program volunteers will spruce up Victoria West Park, 3861 W. Clinton Ave., on Saturday  from 8 a.m. to noon.

   Volunteers are needed to help in the workday.  They will be  guided in basic park care through litter removal, flower bed raking, pruning, painting, graffiti removal and other light tasks.

  Helpers are advised  to wear long pants, hats, gloves and sun block and take along drinking water. Tools and supplies will be provided. Workers must complete  volunteer forms and waivers.
