Clean It Up Then Eat It Up: Tule River Workday Followed By Free Barbecue

 (July 7, 2012) -- A Tule River cleanup project is planned for today from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wildplaces, a nonprofit organization based in Springville, is organizing the annual event to clear out trash from the middle fork of the river. 

    Volunteers will gather at Springville Memorial Park, 35944 Highway 190 for an orientation and regroup for a free barbecue after the clean-up. Volunteer crew members are asked to take closed-toe shoes, water and sunscreen.
