New Free Public Charter School Enrolls Today

  (July 7, 2012) --  Fresno County Supervisor Henry Perea will be among the guest speakers at New Spirit Charter Academy's enrollment barbecue 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to day at Trinity Luthean Church, 3973 E. Cedar Ave.  The academy is a free public charter school.

   The school offers a longer school day, project-based learning and smaller class sizes. It serves kindergarten through third grade beginning in September, with plans to expand grades next year.
