Perea Leads New Group Of Moderates

(March 21, 2012) –  There is a new group of moderates in town.  But there is no roster,  no official organization,  no meeting schedule. The Fresno Bee’s John Ellis is reporting that  Assembly Member  Henry T. Perea  is leading a group of moderate Democratic Party legislators called “New Democrats.”   The group is describing itself as “an informal caucus of democratic legislators. who pursue job-creating legislation and seek common sene solutions to California’s policy challenges. “ Meetings will be called as needed.
