Controlled Burn Set for Tuesday

( CONTROLLED FIRES )
THERE WILL BE ANOTHER CONTROLLED FOREST FIRE IN THE SIERRA AND KINGS CAYNON NATIONAL PARKS TOMORROW.  THE BLAZE WILL BE SET BY PARK OFFICIALS IN A 97-ACRE REGION EAST OF MORO ROCK ROAD - - IT IS EXPECTED THAT THE FIRE WILL BURN FOR TWO OR THREE DAYS.
VISITORS MAY BE DELAYED BECAUSE OF TRAFFIC ONTROL AS THE FIRE IS BURNING IN THE MORO ROCK AND CRESCENT MEADOW AREAS ADJACENT TO THE PARKING AREA.  THE IN-PARK SHUTTLE BUSES WILL CONTINUE TO OPERATE AND VISITORS ARE URGED TO USE THEM.
