(Sept. 26, 2012) – Lyons Magnus Inc. will receive about $100,000 in training funds from the state to keep its 162 employees competitive with out-of-state businesses.
Lyons already is a leader in food service and it is getting the money from the state Employment Training Panel, according to Assemblymember Henry T. Perea, D-Fresno.
The ETP is a statewide economic development program created to support the overall California economy by ensuring that companies threatened by out-of-state competitors have the trained workers they need to succeed.
ETP is the largest state-funded, industry specific training and employment program in the country.
