Gold Medal Swimmer Sets Fresno Date

 (Sept. 24, 2012) -- Jessica Hardy, 2012 gold medal Olympic swimmer and world champion, will be in Fresno to meet with members of the community at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Golden Living Center- Hy-Lond, 3408 E. Shields Ave. 

       Hardy's appearance is part of an Aegis Therapies walking event, where she will  present gold medals to participants in an Olympic-themed ceremony.  Darin Leonardson, chef and director of hospitality and dining, will do a healthy cooking demonstration. There will be a screening of a documentary, “Age of Champions" at 2 p.m. at Calvary Chapel,  3425 E. Shields Ave. The film producer, Anjule Bedi, will be at the premiere showing of the film.
